Bodega Bay Is Another World
Bodega Bay is only an hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco, but it’s truly a world away. You can feel the pace change after you pass through Petaluma, about 1/2 way up the Sonoma Coast. Then you enter rolling farm hills, and there’s a lot of open space that holds rolling hills and valley. This alone is worth the trip. As you continue west you’ll begin to see glimpses of the ocean. We arrived at our Bodega Bay Vacation Rental ready to relax, however, we had no idea just how relaxing it was! It’s so quiet and nature is so abundant in the bay, that you just won’t believe it!
