There have been many kitesurfing enthusiasts that have been calling for more exposure for their sport of choice. They are looking to get their sport, among several others as official sports and even possibly find their way to the grandest stage of all, and find themselves competing in the Olympics. We have seen the Olympics are capable of adapting to accept new sports, such as luge and even competition trampoline jumping. To see these sports find themselves on such a world stage should give kitesurfing fans hope that their sport may very well have a chance of being recognized and becoming an Olympic sport in the years to come.
