I had to write a Eulogy: I Hope This Task Never Repeats

I’ve done a lot of things in my life.  I’ve traveled the world, I’ve done just about every thrill-seeking activity there is, and I’ve raised three children.  I thought I could conquer just about every task there was by that point.  Then, I was asked to write a eulogy for a friend.  It quickly became the most difficult task I’d ever attempted.  I had so many questions about what was appropriate, what was expected, and what was proper.  The family couldn’t help much; they were incredibly busy with funeral preparations and travel plans and whatnot.  It took me a long time, but I finally completed it.  I honestly hope I never have to do anything like it again!
