Patients Who Won’t Cut Down Weight Shouldn’t Get Hospital Treatment
In the UK, like most other places around the world, medical services are often at full stretch treating patients. In some parts of Britain the Local Health Servies will not perform operations (I don’t mean emergency treatments), on people who are obese, for example. The doctors tell the patients they have to Lose Stomach Fat because the patient is potentially shortening his life span by being grossly overweight. That makes sense to me. Why should someone who doesn’t take care of his own body get free treatment on the NHS? The same often applies to smokers, and to those who are alcoholics.
