In Loving Memory: Using Initial Pendants as a Simple Keepsake
After the loss of our unborn son, we had as one would imagine the most difficult time coming to terms with our loss. We wrote poetry, took extended time off to focus on our other children, and still in the end struggled to gain any type of closure. About a year and a half later, I came across initial pendants on the internet and an idea was sparked. I ordered a stylistiv heat with a small birthstone in the center. On the back, I put the initials of our lost son. For Mother’s Day, I placed a necklace with the pendant around my wife’s neck. I told her that he will be near her heart forever. As you may guess, my wife wears that necklace every single day, and now there are many more days with smiles and fewer days with tears.
