We learned a very valuable lesson from our next door neighbors, one that was very unfortunate for them. It involved home repair they had done. They decided to go with a "big name" company that gave them a low price. They got inexperienced workmen and long story short they’ve had people come out to their home four times to fix the problems. We’re planning sauna construction and don’t want to follow in their footsteps. Before we hire a contractor we plan to get lots of estimates and also get references. We plan to call the local Better Business Bureau to see if they have any outstanding complaints. We’re going to make sure that we have experienced workman and a complete understanding of what happens in case of cost overruns. We want to make sure that we’re getting the home sauna of our dreams, not a home improvement nightmare.
