I just saw a video on You Tube about Vera Bradley duffel bags and I could not believe how big these thins were.  To prove how much space was inside these bags, the girl actually got inside of it and zipped it up.  She was not a huge girl, but this still proved that there would be plenty of room for all of your belongings for college or packing for a trip.  I know some mothers that even use the duffel bag instead of a baby bag for their baby supplies because it just holds that much more room for anything you can imagine.
