After you’ve taken the necessary classes and have had your education completion documents evaluated and approved your now ready to apply for your texas real estate license. It’s greatly recommended that you fill out the application online. The online form is exactly the same as the paper form except processing is sped up by several days. Another advantage of the online form is that if the paper one is incomplete you will NOT have it mailed back. Just a letter telling you it was incomplete and you have to start filling it out all over again. Along with the application you must send a ninety-seven dollar application fee plus a ten-dollar fee for the Recovery Trust Fund. These fees can be paid online or with a single check or money order payable to the Texas Real Estate Commission. Please note that the fees are non-refundable. After that the only thing left to do is wait for your application to be processed.
