What is the best hearing aid? The three F’s
When people ask me what is the best hearing aid, I like to tell them that the one that will be best for you is the one that meets the “three F” standards — finances, features, and fit. In order for a hearing aid to qualify as the “best” one for you, it will most certainly need to be one that you can wear comfortably for long periods of time, in many different types of environments — this is the fit. It will also need to have the design and operational components that you require — these are the features. Finally, no hearing aid can be considered to be “best” if you can’t afford to buy it; the price must fit your budget — that is the finances.
