Two Ways Explaining How to Treat Hemorroids

Small hemorrhoids are usually easy to treat using hemorrhoid creams or by taking several warm sitz baths during the day.  However, severe hemorrhoids require more invasive techniques to be successfully treated.  Some of the more common techniques on how to treat hemorrhoids are:  Rubber Band Ligation in which rubber bands are put around an internal hemorrhoid to stop the flow of blood; Hemorrhoidolysis in which the hemorrhoid is desiccated by electrical current; Sclerotherapy is used by injecting a hardening agent into the hemorrhoid; Cryosurgery uses the frozen tip of a cryoprobe to collapse the blood vessels around the hemorrhoid; Laser Coagulation cauterizes the tissues; Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy; and standard enemas.  All of these treatments are used today in treating hemorrhoids and some are more successful than others.
