Lose the fat — or lose your hair?

I was reading recently about what happened in Japan after World War II. It seems that the life of the average Japanese male became much more sedentary — a higher caloric and fat intake, less exercise — and the result? An astounding increase in male pattern baldness. So perhaps we should add restricting our intake of fat to the list of natural hair loss remedies. One of the side benefits — think of it as an additional bonus — is that by restricting our fat intake and eating healthier, as well as getting more exercise — this may serve to not only improve the condition of our hair, but we will be living a healthier lifestyle as well.
