I have four teenagers. I spend a lot of money on acne treatments. Each of my children has a different skin type. One has oily skin. One has dry skin. One has combination skin. One has sensitive skin. They are not able to use the same acne treatment products, because each product is designed to be used on only one skin type. If used on a different skin type, certain acne treatment products can dry out the skin and make the skin flake. In an effort to rid themselves of acne, some people can actually do more harm than good to their skin.
