Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated with zebras. I saw one for the first time in a zoo when I was five years old, and since then I have been obsessed with the idea of going on a safari and seeing one in the wild. I pretended about it in elementary school and dreamt about it in high school. Now, thirty years after the dream was ignited, I am finally getting the chance for real. Bodega Bay is only an hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco, but it’s truly a world away. You can feel the pace change after you pass through Petaluma, about 1/2 way up the Sonoma Coast. Then you enter rolling farm hills, and there’s a lot of open space that holds rolling hills and valley. This alone is worth the trip. As you continue west you’ll begin to see glimpses of the ocean. We arrived at our Bodega Bay Vacation Rental ready to relax, however, we had no idea just how relaxing it was! It’s so quiet and nature is so abundant in the bay, that you just won’t believe it!
I love my hotel in Tel Aviv! More importantly, I love their staff! They’ve been really helpful. They give you lots of tips on where to go. Artists and craftsmen show off their talents in the street. This is very similar to those European street artists. My server said I can find amazing handmade jewellery here, too. Now, I have something to give my mom and sisters when I get back.
In the last few years, I have had a break in a number holiday cottages in the New Forest. It was a surprise to discover that there is still so much to do, even in the most tranquil side of the country, that my other half so loves. This fall I have a trip abroad planned. My college friends are getting married and I promised them that I would be there when they tie the knot.
