Travel Time!

A lot of people do most of their travelling in the summer, but I like to plan my trips in the fall.  There are several reasons for this–there are less people at most of the places I want to visit, most of the places I want to go are warm all year, and the cost is less.  One exception I make to this rule is my yearly trip to upstate New York.  I always tend to go there in the summer to take advantage of the breathtaking scenery.  I always stop halfway at one of the many Amherst NY hotels that are available.  They are some of the best in the country.

Many Great Amenities in this Bed and Breakfast

Last year, upon the recommendation of our best friends, my husband and I went on an extended vacation to a fantastic bed and breakfast.  Mundy’s B+B in Butlersbridge, Cavan was a great overall experience.  My husband, the ever adventurer, loved the fact that he could wake up early and fish, enjoy lunch with me, and then head to the golf course.  I spent most of my time walking the scenic grounds taking in all the surrounding beauty.  Once inside, we enjoyed the modern conveniences of our room as well as the simplicity of it’s decor.  This was truly a memorable experience and one we will never forget.

What is Paratha

Made of oil and flour, repeatedly layering dough and oil,  parathas are a flat, flaky bread usually stuffed with boiled potatoes or other vegetables.  Parathas can also be eaten plain with butter.  This popular Indian bread first found its way into existence from Peshawar as a hearty breakfast food indigenous of Punjabi cuisine.  Depending on one’s preference this fried flat bread was stuffed as previously mentioned or even covered in yogurt and pickles.  It became popular all over northern India and is now one of the most popular breakfast dishes found throughoutIndia.  Parathas can be shaped in any manner and although are most popular as a breakfast food, have often been used as a side dish with other meals.

Cultural experience

We had been told about a place called Rotorua which apparently is the cultural capital of New Zealand. Some friends of ours had just returned from there and suggested we go for a visit. They gave us details of all the companies they had used who they thought were good and would deal with again. We took most of their suggestions, we booked our car through car rental rotorua and we stayed at the hotel they recommended. It was a very interesting place to visit, but as anyone who has ever been there will tell you, it takes a little while to get used to the very pungent smell.

How Many Times Do You Go To England?

In our own little worlds there are many places we have been over and over again and we don’t really give it a lot of thought.  We visit the same places, see the same people, and expect the same results.  Routine doesn’t even begin to describe that kind of life.  But consider just how many times you will go to England.  Once in a lifetime?  Perhaps.  Do not go without visiting Bath and Stonehenge.  If you do not go, you will regret it for the rest of your life if you do not have a chance to make a return trip.  Do it the first time.

History of the Cordoba Mosque

In 1236 King Ferdinand III invaded Cordoba and reclaimed the mosque from the Muslim army and returned it to a Christian church. The kings of Spain that followed the reign of King Ferdinand continued work on the church and finally rebuilt it in the 14th century. It was renamed the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin which may have helped the building survive during the Spanish Inquisition. Although the Cordoba Mosque itself was completely reconstructed back into a Christian church by the 14th century other artists and builder continued to work on the Church until the late 18th century.

US visa.

Looking for ways to apply for the US Visa, people often miss out the online option. The fact is that it is one of the best options to apply for it. You shall come across many agents who help you get this visa and mind it, not all of them are trustworthy. The best option is always to contact the US Consulate directly and that you only do be visiting the US embassy or applying online. Some people say that this method is quite consuming and tedious, but they do not realize how safe they are taking up this strategy.
