I recently logged on to the Alaska Democratic Party website for giggles and I saw that the opening home page was all about McCain and his status on Iraq. I think it is interesting when political parties chose to focus on the other party for their soapbox. They all do it, but why? Why can’t the democrats just promote the democrats and the republicans just promote the republicans? Why do they have to bash or misinterpret what the other party has to say. When I log on to a website I want to know that parties opinion, not how they interpret another party.
I was talking with my sister about the topic of ‘how to get your ex boyfriend back‘. They broke up a few months ago and she really misses him. They were a cute couple that gave up too easily. I told her not to try the make him jealous approach, but instead tell him that they should make a fresh start and just go out on a nice date and see if there is still any chemistry there. If it works and they agree, then they can start going out again. Maybe they can at least be friendly even if there are no sparks anymore, but it would be good for them to be nice to each other and try because he was a nice guy.
I like my vacations, but my Nebraska vacations stand out. I don’t know why that is, we really don’t do anything different there, we just go see the sights and talk to the people. The people of Nebraska just seem to share my values I guess, after all we don’t live that far apart, in fact I can cross the border in less than two hours. I wonder if they feel the same way about Iowans? I’ll probably never know but it gives me something to wonder about. I wonder if they wonder about the same things I wonder about. After all we are all Midwesterners that gives similar wants doesn’t it?
