Toxic Safety In The Hospital

Recently in a local hospital there was a code red page that there was a possible bio-hazard substance brought in on a patient.  The patient was immediately placed in isolation, and all necessary precautions were put into place.  A series of tests were run on the patients blood, clothing and other fluids.  Fume hoods were used to protect the safety of the hospital staff, and to prevent the spread of any possible toxic chemical being spread to other parts of the hospital.  Thank goodness the hospital had run through practice drills many times, so when the actual even really happened, they knew what to do without thinking much about it.
