Most small businesses have some sort of physical presence, even if they are mail order operations. But surprisigly, the small business website is still not as popular as it really ought to be.

A website one - even if your website is not a sales portal. is important for generating presence, sales, and ultimately revenue. These days, if you don’t have one, your business loses legitimacy, and that will cost you in customers.

It is also a common, easy, convenient and expected way to allow prospective customers to contact you. It is like having an ad in the phone book, if you do your search engine optimizations right.
