The Art of Ink
There was a time when I actually thought owning a computer and its accessories was as easy as unbox, install, learn to use.
Since I bought my first computer I have learned so much I could write a book. Take printers, for instance. Not only did I not know that printer ink cartridges need to be replaced, I had no idea where to get them.
It took several trips to the store, a lot of online research, and quite a bit of bumbling, but I finally bought and installed my first replacement cartridges.
Naturally, after I’d stocked up on enough ink to last a year, my printer had to be replaced and the new model took a different kind of ink.
It’s been a long and often expensive process, but I think I’ve got the hang of this computer-and-accessories thing. I hope.
