Beware of Scams
The growth and use of the Internet has increased tremendously over recent years. While this is primarily a great thing, which allows for greater access to products, services and information, there are also some negative aspects. There have been more and more people that fall into the trap of scams. People receive emails from scammers pretending to be from a bank, an investment firm, an accounting firm, the government, etc. These places ask for personal information like credit card numbers, social security numbers, passwords, etc. This information should never be given out via phone or email. If you ever receive a message from any of the mentioned services, or if anything seems not quite right, then you should report it.
