Reasons to Not Buy New Hybrid Cars
Right now, many people are not looking to switch to new hybrid cars. Their main reason is that hybrid cars are priced at a much higher point than their counterparts. When you calculated the price of the car, how many miles that you drive, and took into account the continually falling price of gas, it may not be a cost-efficient option for you.
The cost of the car far outweighs the money that you will save on gas by driving it. Also, many believe that they are not necessarily better for the environment than a regular gas car, starting with their production.
There are plenty of car manufacturers out there who begin in the factories with processes that are better for the environment than most cars. Therefore, the carbon footprint of the hybrid car is not a reason for many people to buy one either, as it may be more than the car that they are currently driving.
