Once you have chosen a dialect, there are several options available to you that can help you to learn to speak Italian. Many colleges offer Italian classes, although these can be quite expensive. Another drawback to these types of programs is the fact that you have to be available when the class is scheduled, which may be difficult for people with a busy career. The pace in which these classes progress are set by the instructor, new Rocket Italian and you may find that they move either too quickly or too slowly for your learning abilities. Most Italian collegiate courses teach Standard Italian, which will not be of much help to you if you wish to study a different dialect, so these classes may not be right for everyone.
